When I was a kid, we played this game at every birthday party and on New Year’s Eve as we were waiting for the ball to drop. I tried it with my own kids when they were 4 and 2 and they were terrified! The sound of the balloons popping so close was too much. But now that they’re 7 and 5, they absolutely love it. I hope you have as much fun with it as we do!
HOW TO PLAY
Blow up balloons. Tie a long piece of curling ribbon to each balloon.
Tie the other ends of the curling ribbon around each player’s ankle. Now everyone should have a balloon trailing from one foot.
Find a place with plenty of room to run. The goal is to pop the other players’ balloons by stomping on them, without letting anyone pop your own!
The last player to have his or her balloon popped is the winner!
